• Rotation of nursery blocks in and out of production to allow the soil to rest up to 3 years, thus not only preventing depletion of key nutrients in soil, but allowing periodic renewal of soil nutrients
• Full cover crop program with a special blend of barley, oats, and legumes to keep organic matter and microbial activity at optimum levels
• Fully state certified virus tested rootstocks and mother blocks

Eco Ranchos is also a producer of sustainably grown Paulownia timber and biomass.  We are developing a contract grower program in the Central Valley of California for timber production beginning in 2011.
