The Paulownia tree is an amazing tree with many fine properties.  It is indeed one of the fastest growing trees capable of producing quality timber and other products.  We see the Paulownia tree as one of many remarkable flora solutions to the problems facing all of us.  However, the Paulownia tree has been the subject of exaggerated claims and misinformation, principally through the internet, including unattainable rates of growth, improper planting densities, and unrealistic profits.  The perpetrators of such claims range from over-zealous retail marketers with little or no actual agricultural experience, or simply incompetent growers, to those committing outright fraud.  Growing Paulownia for commercial purposes is a serious agricultural endeavor requiring not only adequate planning, good genetics and suitable land, but considerable agricultural skill and experience.  The Eco Ranchos team has this requisite knowledge and experience.
